I will summarise the common pitfalls and dangers of cross-correlating multi-wavelength catalogues using different techniques, highlight the advantages and scientific potential of including high energy catalogues in multi-wavelength cross-correlations, pointing to some recent results, and identify their synergies with upcoming surveys, particularly those involving radio data.
